WHO WE ARE
Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.” Matthew 28:19-20a
The Way is a global missionary vision for church planting that aims to fulfill the great commission given by Jesus Christ in a global, effective, efficient way, with sustainable and collaborative strategies

MISSION
Fulfill the great commission given by Jesus Christ globally, effectively, effectively, with sustainable strategies and collaboratively.

VISION
Transform lives and society with the gospel of Jesus Christ by planting missional churches centered on this gospel with a focus on biblical discipleship and counseling that are culturally and socially relevant in the community!

VALUES
1. Centrality of the Gospel of Christ.
2. Bible as source of all Truth.
3. Holistic view of the human being.
4. Church as an agent of social transformation (relevance in the community).
5. Global and community collaboration.
6. Paternalism is not sustainable in the long run.
7. The community must identify their own problems and work together to solve them.

PURPOSE
Transform communities (which are in a context of social risk) through community development and church planting. Community development aims to help the community identify their own problems and seek practical solutions within and outside the community so that they can collaboratively develop the community in a sustainable and long-term manner. One focus of “The Way” is to be relevant in the community while avoiding paternalism. As a result of this social work, the second objective emerges that is to plant healthy, gospel-focused Christian churches that are relevant (socially and culturally) in the community.

TARGET PEOPLE
Population of large urban centers, living in poor suburbs, with serious social problems such as: child malnutrition, lack of clean water, lack of sewage, poor housing, joblessness, drug trafficking, sex trafficking, extreme violence, child prostitution, lack of school education, among others.

THE NEED
Brazil is a large country where most of the population lives in large cities. These large Brazilian cities suffer from urban violence, drug trafficking, infant mortality, high rates of emotional problems and suicides. Behind this scenario are stories of broken families, child sexual abuse, and desperate people with no hope of life.
People are thirsty and lost for the Gospel. The Holy Spirit is working on them, to be receptive to the Gospel. God desires his lost children to be found and involved into local churches.
The Solution

Preach the gospel of Jesus Christ in the power of the Spirit of God and see people converted, changed and help them to grow to maturity in this Gospel.
Therefore, we all must respond to God’s call to “make disciples of all nations.” We must have bold plans and strategies to win people to Christ and plant new churches.

THE STRATEGY
Go to cities with more than 1 million inhabitants in Brazil and plant solid, healthy, Gospel-centered churches that are relevant to the community.
The Way aims to help communities with great spiritual, social, physical or emotional needs to identify their own problems through community development. This community is then encouraged and led to work collaboratively to solve their own needs. As a result of this work and collaboration, the gospel will be preached, people discipled, and needs met.

WHY The Way
When the Apostle Paul went out to preach the gospel with his companions, they were known as the “followers of the way”. Their focus was church planting. Therefore, evangelism was inseparable in the process of the birth of new churches. Wherever they went, they made a big “mess” in the city. In the name of Jesus, people were healed, demonized people were set free, and people were saved from their sins. Many loved them, however, many wanted to kill them. After all the transformation that the Gospel promoted, before leaving the city, they always left a church planted.
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” John 14:6
The Way enters communities with the aim of presenting a single path for people: Jesus Christ. The goal is that just like Paul and his companions, each community can be shaken by the gospel and that people can affirm: the followers of the way, the followers of Jesus Christ have arrived!
